Lena's Cafe, Tucumcari, NM.
Even though it was pretty early in the morning, I still was expecting to see at least some people downtown. There was no one, though; not even any cars. Most of the motels where travelers stay are located along Historic Route 66, to the south of "downtown" Tucumcari.
