Wells Fargo, Downtown Los Angeles
Two things that the easterner in me noticed. One, they paint curbs red in California rather than yellow when they don't want you to park there. And two, the trees in Los Angeles are often fuller and greener than they are back east. A paradox, you would think, considering that LA is a desert, and New York is watered continually by the heavens. However, the very fact that it's a desert requires that people water trees in Los Angeles, and the regularity of such watering--along with the abundant sunshine--produces such full, green trees--as opposed to the often emaciated trees one sees in New York. Interesting.
